I absolutely loved my stay at this lodge! The location is superb, with access to trails for all skill levels right from the parking lot. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The dining options were adequate for breakfast, and the wood-fired pizza was a standout. The facilities overall were top-notch and added to the fantastic experience.

Rooms

The rooms were in the main building, unlike many historic lodges we've stayed in, with a bathroom in the lobby or on porches. They were clean and comfortable.

The dining options were hearty, more at a European standard fare level. The buffet-style breakfast was adequate, and the wood-fired pizza was a delightful surprise.

Staying at this lodge was a unique experience. The location is superb, offering access to trails for all skill levels right from the parking lot, making my stay quite memorable. While the rooms were outside the main building, they were still cozy and convenient for a comfortable stay. The service was exceptional, with staff members being friendly and helpful, offering guidance on hikes and even providing room spray. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown due to poor organization, but the hearty European standard fare made up for it. The facilities were sufficient, with easy access to various amenities to enhance the overall stay.

The lodge offers cozy and charming rooms that meet basic needs with no frills. The beds are great, and the modern bathroom adds comfort. The location is amazing with beautiful trails, but the dining experience fell short with poor setup. The service was absolutely fantastic, adding to the friendly atmosphere of the lodge.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms are exactly what I hoped for in a National Park lodge - rustic furniture, great beds, modern bathroom, and forest toned paints. The windows open easily with good-fitting screens, and the fan provided was small but comfortable. Relatively small, yet charming rooms that cover basic needs with zero frills.
Service
10.0
The service was friendly and absolutely fantastic, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The park rangers on hand were also extremely friendly, enhancing the overall experience.
Location
9.0
The lodge is located next to the Paradise glacier at Mount Rainier, offering some fabulous and spectacular hiking trails. The beautiful surroundings make it an amazing place to stay.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was a bit disappointing with a poor setup, resembling a Chinese fire drill. Despite the warm dishes, the organization could be improved for a more enjoyable dining experience.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities outside of the lodge area are limited, with only one server in the morning. Despite this, the lodge itself offers a cozy and charming atmosphere that complements the natural beauty of the location.

I found the hotel to be a mixed bag with some positives and negatives. The rooms on porches were a bit pricey, smaller, but well-equipped with modern amenities. The service was consistently friendly and helpful. The location, while superb for accessing trails, could be crowded at times. The dining experience had its ups and downs with a poorly managed breakfast setup. Overall, the facilities were adequate, but there were areas that could use improvement.

The hotel's location is superb, with access to trails for all skill levels right at the doorsteps and stunning views of Mt Rainier. The rooms in the Annex were smaller with limited space, fitting only a single bed, dresser, and chair, making one side of the bed hard against the wall. The service was wonderful in both the Annex and main building, with attentive staff offering guidance on hikes. The dining experience, while offering hearty European standard fare, was poorly organized and waiting times were significant. The facilities are decent but lacking in terms of spaciousness and variety.

Rooms
